Jagatjit Industries Ltd has announced the start of commercial production at its new grain-based ethanol plant in Punjab, projecting an annual revenue of Rs 550 crore.
Situated in Hamira, Kapurthula district, the plant boasts a capacity of 200 kilolitres per day, promising to generate substantial turnover and boost the company's EBITDA margin by an estimated 8-10 percentage points.
Expected to produce up to 70 million litres of ethanol annually for Oil Marketing Companies, this facility marks a significant step in Jagatjit's growth strategy, enhancing their revenue stream to support expansion in premium spirits and new markets, according to Promoter and Executive Director Roshini Sanah Jaiswal.
