Zee Media Shrinks Losses in Q1 FY26: A Financial Turnaround

Zee Media has reported an improvement in its financial performance for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2026. The company's net loss narrowed to Rs 8.81 crore, a notable decrease from the Rs 10.38 crore loss recorded in the same period last year.
Revenue from operations saw a 3.63% increase, reaching Rs 182.36 crore in the April-June quarter. This growth reflects a positive trend in the company's operational efficiency and market presence.
Zee Media, a prominent news network in India operating 20 TV news channels, continued to strengthen its financial standing as total income, including other income, rose by 3.24% to Rs 183.11 crore. The company's shares rose by 0.44% on the BSE, closing at Rs 13.72 apiece.
