Paradeep Phosphates Ltd (PPL) on Tuesday announced a substantial increase in its consolidated net profit, reaching Rs 255.85 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal year owing to robust sales. This marks a significant leap from their Rs 5.38 crore profit during the corresponding period last year, as reported in their regulatory filing.
The company, based in Bengaluru, also saw a notable rise in total income by 58%, reaching Rs 3,754.06 crore for the April-June quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal, an increase from Rs 2,377.43 crore year-on-year. Concurrently, expenses rose by 44.37%, amounting to Rs 3,439.05 crore, compared to Rs 2,382.48 crore in the prior period.
In addition to these financial accomplishments, the board has endorsed a composite scheme of arrangement for the merger of Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd into Paradeep Phosphates Ltd, both of which are part of Adventz Group. The company stated that the necessary accounting adjustments related to the merger will be implemented following the requisite approvals.
