Hind Rectifiers' Profit Surges Amid Record Railway Orders

Hind Rectifiers reported an 85.5% profit increase to Rs 12.8 crore for Q1 2025-26, driven by record orders and efficiency. Revenue rose 58.5% to Rs 214.8 crore. Orders from Indian Railways boosted their order book to Rs 1,025 crore, solidifying their position in power electronics and locomotive markets.

Hind Rectifiers, a leader in power electronic and rail equipment, reported an impressive 85.5% increase in profit after tax, reaching Rs 12.8 crore for the first quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year. This growth is attributed to significant order inflows and enhanced operational efficiency.

The company's revenue from operations surged by 58.5% to Rs 214.8 crore during the April to June period, compared to Rs 135.5 crore in the same quarter the previous year, according to a filing with the stock exchange.

With order book milestones being achieved, especially due to Rs 327 crore in orders from Indian Railways, Hind Rectifiers has reinforced its status as a trusted player in the power electronics and locomotive sectors. The introduction of an indigenously developed propulsion system for Indian Railways marks another milestone. The board has approved a preferential issue of warrants worth Rs 27.4 crore to its promoter group, pending shareholder approval.
