Palghar MP Hemant Savara has called for urgent repairs on the National Highway 48 stretch between Ghodbunder and Talasari. According to a release from Savara's office, he submitted a memorandum to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Tuesday, drawing attention to the highway's worsening condition due to craters created by rainfall.
The MP emphasized the need for the road to be resurfaced from Ghodbunder to Talasari and requested a technical audit to assess the quality and identify possible lapses in previous repair works. The demand comes as the current state of the road poses significant challenges to commuters, including students and senior citizens.
