Three cars of a passenger train derailed close to Lahore in eastern Pakistan on Friday, injuring at least 27 people, including women and children, officials have confirmed.

The Islamabad Express was making its way to Lahore when it derailed at Kala Shah Kaku, according to railways spokesperson Babar Raza. Emergency responders quickly reached the scene, and all injured individuals were reported to be in stable condition.
