Tragic Collision Claims Two Lives on National Highway-74

In a tragic accident on National Highway-74, a man and his mother lost their lives in a head-on collision, while his wife was injured. The incident involved two cars and occurred near Chakshahjani village. The driver of the second vehicle is in police custody awaiting further legal action.

In a devastating road accident on National Highway-74, a man identified as Chandrashekhar and his mother, Madhavi Bhatt, were killed when their vehicle collided head-on with another car early Sunday morning.

The incident took place around 8 am near the village of Chakshahjani, causing one of the cars to mount the road divider. Chandrashekhar's wife, Preeti, sustained injuries and is receiving medical care, according to Dhampur Circle Officer Abhay Kumar Pandey.

The driver of the second car, Amarjeet, has been apprehended by the police as investigations continue. Authorities have sent the deceased bodies for post-mortem examinations as legal proceedings follow.
