Biplab Kumar Deb Praises New Train Stoppages in South Tripura

West Tripura MP Biplab Kumar Deb expressed gratitude to Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnaw for the new Kanchanjunga Express stoppages at Julaibari and Belonia, benefiting students, traders, and the elderly in South Tripura. This initiative, urged by Deb, aims to ease travel to Kolkata.

West Tripura Member of Parliament Biplab Kumar Deb expressed his gratitude on Friday towards Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnaw for introducing new stoppages for the Kanchanjunga Express at Julaibari and Belonia, located in the South Tripura district.

The express train, which connects Tripura's southernmost region, Sabroom, with Sealdah in Kolkata, will now include these experimental stops to better serve the public.

Deb highlighted that the decision would particularly benefit students, traders, and elderly citizens, improving convenience for those traveling to Kolkata, as he had previously appealed to the Union Minister for these additions.
