Power trading solutions provider PTC India Wednesday announced operationalisation of 128.7 MW inter-state wind power project under the MNRE (Ministry of New and Renewable energy) wind scheme (tranche-I) of 1,050 MW. Mytrah Vayu (Sabarmati) has commissioned this capacity in Tamil Nadu to supply power to the beneficiary states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Assam on long-term basis for 25 years, a company statement said.

The PTC India had announced operationalisation of two interstate transmission system (ISTS)-connected wind power projects in the country, namely Ostro Kutch Wind Pvt Ltd located in Gujarat and Green Infra Renewable Energy Ltd located in Tamil Nadu. The total capacity under this scheme till date is 604.7 MW. * * * * *

BankBazaar partners USFB for disbursing personal loans * Online marketplace for financial services BankBazaar has tied up with Ujjivan Small Finance Bank (USFB) to disburse personal loans to unbanked customers.

The tie-up aims to cater predominantly to the urban unbanked customer segment, it said. BankBazaar said personal loan products of USFB are available for salaried professional from first week of January.

"As people increasingly turn to personal loans to fulfil their aspirations, there is an increasing need for the right product at the right juncture. Ujjivan Bank is strongly positioned to cater to the under-banked urban customer segment," Adhil Shetty, co-founder and CEO, BankBazaar said.
