Mother Dairy has announced that starting from September 22, it will pass on the benefits of GST reductions directly to consumers. This move will make various dairy and processed food products, including those under the Safal brand, more affordable.
The prices of notable items such as paneer, ghee, and butter are set to decrease. This initiative aligns with a broader GST reform, reducing tax rates on over 350 items and expected to bolster consumption.
Manish Bandlish, Managing Director of Mother Dairy, stated that this consumer-focused approach will benefit farmers and increase access to high-quality packaged foods. The entire range of Mother Dairy products will benefit from the reduced or exempted tax slabs.
