The service will utilize Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, leased from Norse Atlantic Airways, featuring both economy and IndiGoStretch seating options. This new route positions London Heathrow as the 45th international destination for the airline.
According to IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers, the connectivity between India and the UK remains pivotal due to substantial bilateral ties and growing travel demands. The airline operates 2,200 daily flights with a fleet of over 400 planes.
