Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw made a dedicated effort to ensure smooth passenger travel ahead of Chhath Puja in the Purvanchal region, marking his second visit in a week to key New Delhi railway stations. During his inspections, he focused on crowd management and passenger amenities.

On Tuesday, Vaishnaw assessed the situation at the security control room on platform one and spoke to passengers on trains like the Shiv Ganga Express. His review of security arrangements from a mini war room at platform 16 underscores the railway's commitment to passenger safety.

Interacting with journalists, the minister revealed that one crore individuals have traveled using special and regular trains recently, with 4.5 lakh passengers departing from Delhi's railway stations daily. The effort involves 12 lakh railway employees ensuring travelers reach their destinations safely and punctually.
