The explosion occurred approximately five kilometres from the Kokrajhar railway station, heading towards Salakati, as per an official source.
The blast caused significant damage to nearly three feet of the railway line, scattering debris meters away. Fortunately, there were no casualties or derailments, according to Kokrajhar Senior Superintendent of Police Pushpraj Singh.
