Ryanair, the Irish low-cost airline, has lost two vital landing slots at Eindhoven Airport following repeated late arrivals. Dutch newspaper Eindhovens Dagblad reported the development on Tuesday.

The decision was made by Airport Coordination Netherlands (ACNL), the agency responsible for allocating slots, after observing consistent delays on specific flights. The affected routes include Monday evening flights from Sofia, Bulgaria, and Thursday evening flights from Pisa, Italy.

This action by ACNL is considered exceptional, as slot revocation is rarely enforced. Both ACNL and Ryanair have so far refrained from commenting on the matter.
