Tragic Crash: Overspeeding Car Plummets Off Flyover
Four Sabarimala pilgrims died in a car crash after their overspeeding vehicle hit a flyover barrier and fell into an underpass in Malur taluk's Abbenahalli village, police reported. Four Sabarimala pilgrims lost their lives in a tragic car accident after their vehicle, which was allegedly speeding, collided with the side barrier of a flyover and plummeted into an underpass.
The incident took place between 2.15 am and 2.30 am at Abbenahalli village, located in Malur taluk, police officials confirmed.
According to preliminary investigations, the driver was suspected to be overspeeding, leading to the severe crash that sent the car falling nearly 100 meters. Authorities have stated that the bodies will be handed over to their families following postmortem examinations.
