IndiGo has announced the successful completion of necessary upgrades on 160 A320 family aircraft, as of noon on Saturday. Inspection efforts for the remaining 40 aircraft are actively underway.
The airline assured that none of its flight services have been cancelled due to these checks, although there might be slight delays in some services.
This action comes in response to Airbus highlighting potential flight control issues in A320 models linked to strong solar radiation. Adjustments through software upgrades or hardware realignment are being performed to mitigate these concerns. IndiGo has confirmed that inspections of the remaining fleet are on track and will conclude within the expected timeline.
