The Sanjay Ghodawat Group, headquartered in Kolhapur, has announced ambitious plans to reach a topline of Rs 15,000 crore by 2030, with the aviation sector set to contribute Rs 6,000 crore. The group is keen on expanding its various businesses, including real estate, consumer goods, and education.
Shrenik Ghodawat, the company's Managing Director, revealed their strategy includes taking several businesses public within the next two to five years. The company's aviation arm, operating under the Star Air banner, has investments pegged at Rs 500 crore for expanding operations over the next two years.
The group has secured Rs 150 crore in Series B funding to boost its aviation fleet and route network, with plans to raise Rs 200 crore more. These moves align with their vision for a fivefold growth across all business sectors by 2030, leveraging strategic investments and market expansions.
