Mizoram is taking a significant digital leap in its transport infrastructure with the launch of an online border checkpost module. This new system aims to simplify and streamline the collection of entry tax from commercial vehicles.

The Mizoram state transport director, R Lalrammawia, announced that the module, developed in collaboration with the National Informatics Centre, has been completed and is now live, poised to enhance efficiency at the state's border crossings.
