Northern Railway Expands Premium Train Services Amid Flight Disruptions

Northern Railway is increasing 3AC and Chair Car coaches in premium trains due to disrupted Indigo flights. This move aims to accommodate the surge in passenger demand. Additional AC coaches will be added to various routes, with the potential for fully air-conditioned trains if necessary.

The Northern Railway has announced an expansion in their services in response to a disruption in Indigo airline's operations.

Himanshu Shekhar Upadhyay, CPRO, revealed that additional 3AC and Chair Car coaches will be installed in select Rajdhani and Shatabdi express trains to manage increased passenger demand.

The railway is monitoring the situation, considering further measures such as all-AC special trains on major routes if required.
