Railways Deploys Special Trains Amid IndiGo Flight Chaos

The Railways have announced 84 special trains across various zones to assist passengers affected by mass flight cancellations at IndiGo. This initiative accommodates stranded passengers amidst significant disruptions in flight operations over the past five days, with plans for additional trains based on passenger traffic needs.

The Railways have mobilized to ease travel disruptions faced by passengers due to mass cancellations of IndiGo flights, deploying 84 special trains comprehensive of all zones for Saturday.

Orchestrated by the Railway Ministry, 104 trips have been efficiently scheduled in pivotal cities such as New Delhi and Mumbai to accommodate those stranded.

Zones have been directed to maximize resource use, ensuring the operation of these trains, with information made readily available to passengers at nearby airports through coordinated efforts.
