Tragedy Strikes in Madhya Pradesh: Three Dead in Highway Collision
A tragic accident in Madhya Pradesh’s Mandla district left three people dead and one injured when a speeding truck collided with a stationary pickup vehicle. Police are searching for the truck driver, who fled the scene. Victims included an eatery owner, a young boy, and a laborer.

A tragic accident claimed the lives of three individuals in Madhya Pradesh's Mandla district during the early hours of Sunday. The incident occurred when a speeding truck carrying steel rods rammed into a stationary pickup vehicle on the side of the road.
The crash happened around 1 am near Ahmedpur crossing on the Mandla-Raipur National Highway, according to Anjajniya police outpost in-charge Praveen Sharma. The truck, moving towards Jabalpur from Raipur, struck the parked pickup, resulting in a fatal collision 40 km from Mandla's district headquarters.
Among the deceased were Shital Gupta, a 50-year-old eatery owner, Arshad Khan, a 14-year-old traveling in the truck, and Dhirendra Lal, a 40-year-old laborer with the pickup vehicle. Police are actively searching for the truck driver who fled the scene, and a case has been registered.
