The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has announced a significant 5% cut in IndiGo's flight schedule, resulting from extensive flight disruptions since December 1, 2025. This measure affects routes with high demand and frequency.
An official order issued on Tuesday mandates IndiGo to present a revised flight schedule to the DGCA by 5 pm on Wednesday. The reductions are part of a broad response to the disruptions reported across the airline's network.
Following the Civil Aviation Minister's statement on Monday about the ongoing winter schedule adjustments, IndiGo, which operates over 2,200 flights daily, has been affected by the government's decision to limit the number of routes it can service.
