Tragic Scooter Accident Claims Young Woman's Life in Delhi

A woman died and her father was injured after a tractor-trolley collided with their scooter in northeast Delhi's Karawal Nagar. The accident, involving a driver who fled, prompted a police investigation using forensics and CCTV footage to find the suspect.

A 21-year-old woman's life was tragically cut short when a tractor-trolley collided with her scooter in northeast Delhi's Karawal Nagar area on Wednesday. The victim's father also sustained injuries in the incident.

The accident was reported at 4:37 PM between Johripur Nala and Shiv Vihar Tiraha. Police, who quickly responded to the call, discovered the severely injured young woman at the scene. She succumbed to her injuries at a nearby hospital.

The incident transpired during an attempted overtake by the tractor-trolley on a narrow road, resulting in the woman falling and being run over by the trolley. Neither she nor her father wore helmets. The driver fled, and police are investigating with the help of CCTV footage to locate the suspect.
