VinFast, a subsidiary of Vingroup, is spearheading a transformative shift in Vietnam's automotive sector, decisively moving towards electric vehicles. According to Transport & Environment's 2025 report, 42% of all new cars sold in Vietnam are now fully electric, a remarkable figure surpassing many European countries and even China.

The vehicle manufacturer achieved a milestone in October 2025 with the delivery of 20,380 vehicles, bringing its year-to-date total to 124,264. Founder Pham Nhat Vuong's vision, backed by government incentives like the 2027 registration fee exemption, has been instrumental in this success. Vuong's dedication frames VinFast as a passion project, intertwined with Vietnam's industrial progress.

Vingroup provides vital support through integrated infrastructure, including real estate, advanced technology, and renewable energy. This cooperation forms a sustainable advantage, with properties hosting EV charging stations and promoting eco-friendly practices. VinFast's global ambitions are evident in its Indian initiatives, building a comprehensive EV ecosystem to support its expansion.
