IndiGo's founders Rahul Bhatia and Rakesh Gangwal have secured their place among the top 10 self-made entrepreneurs in India. The duo is recognized for steering the airline to a valuation of Rs 2.2 lakh crore by 2025, according to the latest report from Hurun and IDFC First Private.
Deepinder Goyal of Eternal leads the list, showcasing a remarkable business valuation increase of 27% to Rs 3.2 lakh crore. The list also highlights the success of other entrepreneurs like Vijay Shekhar Sharma and Lenskart's co-founders amid the rise of billion-dollar businesses.
Bengaluru remains the hub of entrepreneurial success, hosting 52 companies on the list. The top entrepreneurs have collectively elevated the total valuation of their companies to Rs 42 lakh crore, marking a 15% growth from the previous year.
