Maruti Suzuki India launched the WagonR with a swivel seat option on Wednesday, marking a significant step towards promoting inclusive mobility in the mass segment car market.

Designed specifically to enhance convenience for senior citizens and persons with disabilities, the swivel seats are a direct alignment with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal 10—aimed at reducing inequality.

According to Maruti Suzuki India's MD and CEO, Hisashi Takeuchi, the WagonR's inclusion of this feature makes daily travel more convenient and accessible. The swivel seat kit has been rigorously safety tested at the Automotive Research Association of India, meeting all required standards.
