Mondelez India Faces Revenue and Profit Decline in FY25

Mondelez India Foods has reported a striking decline in its fiscal year 2025 performance, with a 1.91% drop in revenue to Rs 12,502.95 crore and a massive 99.4% plunge in profits, down to Rs 12.47 crore, as per regulatory filings.
The company, known for its Cadbury Dairy Milk and Oreo brands, experienced an 8.56% decrease in total income, falling to Rs 12,601.79 crore according to data from Tofler. This is a stark contrast to FY24 when the company netted a profit of Rs 2,020.87 crore and had revenues amounting to Rs 12,746.98 crore.
Despite being a formidable presence in India since 1948, Mondelez India saw its advertising and promotional expenses decrease by 5.13% and royalties to its parent entity decline by nearly 3%. The total tax expense dropped by 93.72% while total expenses rose by 13.23% in FY25.
