Blaze at Ludhiana Hosiery Factory: Over Three Hours to Control

A fire broke out at a hosiery factory in Ludhiana's Civil Lines. While no casualties were reported, 23 fire tenders took over three hours to control the blaze. A significant fire erupted on Thursday at a hosiery factory in Punjab's Ludhiana, situated in the Civil Lines area. Officials confirmed that the incident resulted in no casualties.

The factory, positioned on the second floor of a three-storey building in Deep Nagar, required the concerted effort of 23 fire tenders and over three hours to contain the flames, according to Jaswinder Singh, the Fire Officer from Ludhiana Municipal Corporation.

As investigations continue, the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage remain under scrutiny. Factory owner Gorav Goyal noted that machinery and stock housed on the affected floor may have been impacted by the fire.
