In preparation for its initial public offering, Flipkart, a major e-commerce platform owned by Walmart, has appointed Jane Duke as its new Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer. The company made the announcement on Thursday, emphasizing the importance of enhancing governance as it navigates this significant corporate milestone.

Duke, who will directly report to Walmart International's Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer, Chris Cyrenne, and collaborate closely with Flipkart Group CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy, brings nearly three decades of experience. Her prior roles include Vice President at Tyson Foods and Chief Compliance Officer at the US Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Arkansas.
