Reliance Industries Posts Steady Q3 Profit Amid Retail Sector Challenges

Reliance Industries Ltd reported a stable net profit of Rs 18,645 crore for the third quarter of 2025-26, with retail challenges counterbalanced by energies and digital segment gains. Growth in operations revenue to Rs 2.69 lakh crore reflects resilience amidst GST rate impacts on retail.

Reliance Industries Ltd announced a near-flat net profit of Rs 18,645 crore for the third quarter, highlighting how challenges in its retail division were balanced by stronger performances in its energy and digital segments.

According to the filing, the conglomerate's muted growth in retail was due to GST rate adjustments. However, it saw robust contributions from other sectors of its business.

Comparatively, the net profit for October-December 2025 was Rs 18,645 crore, up marginally from Rs 18,540 crore the previous year. The revenue from operations also increased to Rs 2.69 lakh crore, up from Rs 2.43 lakh crore a year ago.
