Chemco Group, a pioneer in plastic packaging in India, has inaugurated a groundbreaking food-grade rPET recycling facility in Sanand, Gujarat. This state-of-the-art plant represents a pivotal moment in India's journey towards a sustainable, circular plastics economy.

With an investment of Rs. 125 crore, Chemco's facility can recycle more than 1 billion post-consumer PET bottles annually, transforming them into high-quality, food-grade recycled PET. This capability positions the company as one of the few in India providing comprehensive bottle-to-bottle recycling solutions at an industrial scale.

The facility complies with international standards, boasting approvals from the US FDA and EFSA, alongside FSSAI requirements in India. This development solidifies Chemco's dedication to sustainability, enabling brand partners to meet recycled-content goals while maintaining quality and safety.
