The Rajasthan Cabinet has announced its first semiconductor policy along with a new aerospace and defence initiative, marking a strategic move to enhance high-tech manufacturing within the state, officials revealed.
Following the cabinet's meeting, Industry and Commerce Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore elaborated on the Semiconductor Policy, emphasizing domestic production, design, and the advancement of semiconductor parks, backed by state incentives.
The newly adopted policies, aimed at substantial private sector investment, promise to make Rajasthan a pivotal player in India's semiconductor and defence manufacturing sector, bolstering skilled jobs and technological innovation.
