Tuhin A. Sinha, the National Spokesperson of BJP, recently visited Parashar Future Defence Technologies and Parashar Industries in Haryana, showcasing India's burgeoning capabilities in indigenous drone manufacturing. His visit underscores the expanding role of high-tech MSMEs in the nation's defense ecosystem.

The timing of Sinha's visit coincides with a historic Union Budget allocation for defense services, amounting to INR 7.85 lakh crore for FY 2026-27. This shift highlights the strategic importance of defense within national development priorities, following the significant Operation Sindoor. Defense spending now commands 14.67% of total government expenditure, the highest among ministries.

Sinha engaged with key officials such as Nagender Parashar, CEO of Parashar Future Defence Technologies. Their discourse emphasized the company's dedication to all aspects of drone production—from design and research to testing. The conversation highlighted Parashar's critical role in meeting India's defense needs by developing sophisticated indigenous solutions.

With 28% of total defense allocations targeting capital expenditure, focus areas include advanced weapon systems, aircraft, and drones. Companies like Parashar are now pivotal MSME partners in forging advanced, homegrown solutions. Haryana, with its robust industrial framework, is becoming a crucial hub for India's defense industry, contributing to economic growth and employment.

Post-visit, Sinha remarked on how Parashar's work exemplifies the success of policy reforms, increased private sector involvement, and improved business conditions. Meanwhile, Nagender Parashar affirmed the company's commitment to innovation and quality, supporting India's defense capabilities.
