Marico, a leading FMCG company, announced its acquisition of a 60% stake in Cosmix Wellness, valuing the latter at Rs 375 crore. This strategic move, according to the company, is part of Marico's broader objective to expand its presence in digital-first and plant-based wellness markets.

Saugata Gupta, MD and CEO, emphasized the potential in wellness and plant-based nutrition, noting Cosmix's strong consumer connection. With this acquisition, Marico, which has surpassed a Rs 10,000 crore revenue milestone, targets doubling its revenues to Rs 20,000 crore by 2030. On the BSE, Marico's shares experienced a slight increase, closing at Rs 733.15.
