In Kerala, NDA leaders Rajeev Chandrasekhar and Sabu M Jacob praised India's newly signed Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) with the United States and the European Union, asserting they will boost manufacturing and employment opportunities across various sectors.
Chandrasekhar emphasized that these agreements will enable India to challenge China's dominance, particularly in technology and manufacturing. He highlighted the potential growth in the electronics, semiconductor, and artificial intelligence sectors, alongside traditional manufacturing industries such as garments and sportswear.
Jacob echoed these sentiments, labeling the deals as historic. He credited India's steadfast negotiation approach for these achievements and projected a significant increase in India's exports over the next five years. Both leaders urged political opponents to support the FTAs, framing resistance as opposition to progress and development.
