In a tragic turn of events on Monday, a fatal accident occurred when a truck collided with three vehicles on the Tangri Bridge National Highway, resulting in two deaths. Initially, reports suggested four fatalities, but police clarified that the toll stands at two.

The accident happened in Shahpur as the truck traveled from Delhi to Chandigarh, crashing into a car, a motorcycle, and a three-wheeler before overturning. The motorcycle driver and a passenger in the three-wheeler were tragically trapped and lost their lives in the incident.

Authorities suspect dense fog caused the driver to lose control. Parao Station House Officer Dharmbir Singh reported that traffic on the Delhi-Ambala Highway was temporarily obstructed but later restored with police intervention.
