Volvo and ChargeZone have launched an ultra-fast EV charging station on the Mumbai-Nashik Highway, featuring a 360kW power unit. This initiative aims to enhance the charging experience and infrastructure in India, marking a crucial step towards sustainable mobility and improved long-distance EV travel.

Volvo Car India has inaugurated an ultra-fast charging station on the Mumbai-Nashik Highway in collaboration with ChargeZone, a key player in the EV charging network business. Today's announcement marks a significant advancement in providing high-speed charging across India's national corridors.

The newly introduced facility boasts a 360kW star charge power unit equipped with two dynamic load balancing dispensers. This cutting-edge technology ensures optimal power distribution, reducing waiting times and enhancing the charging experience for both Volvo customers and other EV users, according to Volvo Car India.

Positioned strategically on one of Maharashtra's busiest routes, this station offers dedicated bays for Volvo EVs and seamless app-based navigation and payment options. Volvo Car India has emphasized its commitment to supporting the transition to sustainable mobility, with plans to install additional stations within the year, further solidifying its presence in the premium EV market.
