A tragic accident unfolded on Marine Drive in the early hours of Monday, resulting in the deaths of three people. The 19-year-old motorcyclist, Krishna Uday Desai, accompanied by his pillion passenger, Muskan Ali Shaikh, collided with pedestrian Kishor Pandurang Lamne at the Parsi Gymkhana junction on N S Road.

Police report that Desai was driving recklessly, ignoring traffic signals, which led to the fatal collision. All three involved – the motorcyclist, his passenger, and the pedestrian – were critically injured and rushed to GT Hospital, where they were declared dead.

A resident of Mulund, Desai had been celebrating his birthday and was en route to meet his friend, Shaikh. An accidental death report has been filed, and the Marine Drive police station is conducting further investigations to ascertain detailed circumstances leading to the crash.
