Argentina receives three bids for its stake in power transport firm Transener
Argentina's privatization of majority state-owned power transport firm Transener is nearing its final stage, Economy Minister Luis Caputo said on Tuesday, having received three bids from firms for its stake.
Transener is the South American nation's main high voltage power transmission company, with the government looking to sell off its 51% stake. Libertarian President Javier Milei has promised to privatize a number of state firms in his administration, including legacy carrier Aerolineas Argentinas.
