ACC Ltd's Revenue Hits High Amid Profit Dip
ACC Ltd, an Adani Group cement company, reported a significant decline in net profit for Q1 FY26 despite achieving its highest-ever quarterly revenue. The dip in profit was attributed to global market volatility and increased energy costs, though sales volume and revenue from premium products grew, boosting overall income.
ACC Ltd, a leading cement firm under the Adani Group, reported a 68.27% drop in consolidated net profit for the March quarter of FY2025-26, amounting to Rs 238.3 crore, compared to the same period last year.
The company nevertheless achieved its highest-ever quarterly revenue of Rs 7,124.47 crore, driven by a premium product mix and increased sales volume, despite the challenging economic environment.
The firm maintained a strong balance sheet, remained debt-free, and anticipates completing its amalgamation with Ambuja Cements by FY27, while navigating cost pressures from global conflicts and uncertain demand growth.
