The LPG tanker MT Sarv Shakti has safely navigated the Strait of Hormuz, carrying a significant load of liquefied petroleum gas to India amidst regional tensions. The vessel is chartered by Indian Oil Corporation and marked as the first India-linked tanker to cross post-US blockade on Iran-related vessels.

The tanker MT Sarv Shakti, carrying liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), has successfully traversed the Strait of Hormuz, bringing crucial energy supplies to India amid ongoing geopolitical challenges.

With 46,313 tonnes of LPG onboard, the tanker, flagged under Marshall Islands, is anticipated to dock at Visakhapatnam by May 13. The movement through this strategic channel marks a significant milestone for Indian maritime operations, especially since the US blockade began concerning ships linked to Iran.
