The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has given the green light for a significant rail project in Gujarat, promising faster connectivity and enhanced economic activity.
Spanning 134 kilometers and costing approximately Rs 20,667 crore, the semi-high-speed corridor will connect Ahmedabad with Dholera. It's set to revolutionize travel between key areas, including the Dholera Special Investment Region and the forthcoming Dholera Airport.
This railway line forms a crucial part of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, expected to be a game-changer for regional development. Its environmental efficiency aligns with India's climate goals, cutting down carbon emissions significantly.
