Bharti Airtel Records Impressive Q4 Surge with Strong India and Africa Growth
Bharti Airtel announced a 38.7% increase in its Q4 net income, driven by solid growth in India and Africa. The telecom giant reported revenues of Rs 55,383 crore and expanded its customer base to 650 million globally, marking impressive advancements in mobile, homes, and enterprise segments.
Bharti Airtel has reported a notable 38.7% year-on-year increase in net income, reaching Rs 7,245 crore for the fourth quarter of FY26. According to their earnings release, this growth is attributed to the company's substantial performance in India and Africa.
For the quarter ended in March, Airtel's consolidated revenues rose to Rs 55,383 crore, marking a 15.7% increase from the previous year and a 2.6% rise from the previous quarter. Their consolidated EBITDA also saw a remarkable 16.9% increase to Rs 32,038 crore, with an EBITDA margin of 57.8%.
Driven by mobile premiumisation and strategic expansion in multiple segments, Airtel's India revenue grew by 7.7% YoY, while their mobile ARPU increased to Rs 257. The company's total customer base surpassed 650 million, highlighting the brand's ongoing commitment to growth and infrastructure development.
