Tragic Collision in Gurugram: Rapido Rider and Passenger Killed

In a tragic incident in Gurugram's Sector 95, a Rapido motorcycle driver and his passenger lost their lives after a speeding truck rammed into their vehicle, authorities confirmed on Wednesday.

According to the police, the deceased passenger, Rohit Kumar Gupta, aged 29, resided in Lucknow but worked with a private company in Delhi. The 24-year-old driver, Jaipal, hailed from Auraiya, Uttar Pradesh.

The accident happened as Gupta, who lived in Shanti Vihar as a tenant, booked a Rapido ride to commute to his Delhi office. The collision occurred after crossing Sati Chowk. The truck driver, yet to be identified, allegedly caused the crash. An FIR has been lodged, and investigations, including examination of CCTV footage, are underway.
