A tragic accident occurred on a highway in Chhattisgarh’s Bastar district when a private bus overturned early Monday morning. The bus, carrying over 35 passengers from Raipur to Sukma, lost control, reportedly after the driver fell asleep.

The accident took place on National Highway-30 within the Bastar police station limits. Among the casualties, a woman named Padmani Chandravanshi, a teacher from Kawardha, perished at the scene. More than 20 others sustained injuries and were promptly taken to local hospitals.
