Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang set a remarkable example on Monday by choosing to walk over two kilometers from his residence to attend an official event, reflecting on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call to spend wisely.

While returning, Tamang took a taxi, further emphasizing his commitment to austerity in the context of adopting fuel-saving measures. In addition, during an event on May 15, he announced a weekend exemption for private vehicles from the odd-even rule.
