In a significant move towards advancing tribal welfare, Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the 'Jan Jan Suvidha Kendra' model in Netanar village on Monday. This facility, which once served as a security outpost since 2013, is now poised to become a focal point for the local tribal community. Describing the event as a historic occasion, Shah assured that this welfare centre would substantially contribute to local life.

During the ceremony, Shah emphasized the multi-faceted objectives of the 'Niyad Nellanar' scheme, detailing efforts to bring urban-like amenities to the tribal regions, thus countering Naxalism. The strategy includes the establishment of primary schools, grain shops, and provisions for clean drinking water while facilitating the education and rehabilitation of 3,000 tribal youths with the aid of RSS volunteers.

Highlighting future goals, Shah pointed out that employment opportunities generated through the dairy sector and forest produce would lead to flourishing tribal communities. He reiterated that the end of Naxalism will be truly realized only when the affected villages are reinstated as thriving hubs. Shah underlined the commitment of both the Chhattisgarh government and the central government to ensure the rapid development of this region.
