The FICCI Kerala State Council has extended its congratulations to the Chief Minister V D Satheesan and the newly formed Cabinet, expressing optimism about the continuation of ease-of-doing-business reforms.
V P Nandakumar, chairman of the FICCI Kerala State Council, emphasized that the organization is prepared to give its full support and cooperation to the government to advance the state's economic development. He called for urgent action to accelerate licensing for new business ventures and urged the government to expedite reforms in land laws and the plantation sector.
Nandakumar suggested that Kerala should adopt more business-friendly policies to foster growth in the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME) sector, and also called for a review of policies related to public sector enterprises. FICCI proposed that the government's investment should be concentrated in key sectors, while acting as a facilitator for private investment in others.
