Close Call: Train Collision with Tractor-Trolley Averted

A potentially catastrophic accident was averted on Monday evening when a passenger train collided with a tractor-trolley between Sokana and Mendu railway crossings, according to railway officials.
One passenger sustained injuries and was admitted to the district hospital. The train was halted at Mendu for 22 minutes while authorities investigated the incident. Initial inquiries suggest the Mathura-Kasganj passenger train collided with a tractor-trolley carrying fencing material, causing significant disruptions.
Inspector Ranjeet Yadav from the Government Railway Police stated that an investigation is underway to determine how the tractor made its way onto the railway track. The tractor driver has reportedly fled, and efforts are being made to apprehend them.
