Thailand to tighten visa-on-arrival rules, foreign ministry says

Thailand ​will ‌tighten its rules ​for visas on ‌arrival due to national security concerns, a Foreign Ministry official ‌said on Tuesday The ‌move will bring an end to a 60 ⁠day ​visa-free ⁠stay agreed with 93 countries, ⁠the official said, without ​elaborating on the security concerns.

Thailand's ⁠foreign minister had previously ⁠said ​there was a plan to reduce the ⁠duration from 60 to ⁠30 ⁠days.
